Spring 2026
Mike Treacy
Welcome all Miners' Village residents to our brand-new website! This is an effort to keep our neighbors informed and up to date on issues that may affect you, your property, and village.
As you peruse the contents you will find many useful tools to help you navigate the GRCA and Miners Village rules, procedures, and policies in addition to general information and updates.
Your Board of Directors is intent on being transparent and inclusive and we welcome your questions and suggestions.
Before closing, I would be remiss if I did not recognize and commend the extraordinary efforts of the communication committee, for developing and implementing this project. Their unselfish dedication will benefit our village going forward to assist every resident.
All the best,
Mike Treacy-Board President
Jan Chadwick
Greetings Neighbors!
Spring is in the air and our Gold River community is showing it’s beauty quite well! It takes a lot of work and dedication to maintain this paradise we proudly call home. GP Landscape deserves a big hand for putting in the skill and labor. You will notice the beautiful annual flowers being refreshed at both entrances off Sunrise Blvd. They always make me smile! Other ongoing landscape enhancements throughout Gold River include plant additions, and replacements, to our medians and greenbelt areas along Gold Country and Coloma. If the shovels aren’t digging, or the edgers humming, the mowers and blowers are in full force. You may have noticed the addition of nearly 40 trees too! Also, selective trees have been trimmed throughout the nature trails and common areas.
GRCA continues to work with the Postal Service and law enforcement on mailbox thefts. A petition is being created asking USPS to put Gold River on a priority for receiving the new master locks for our boxes. Some new locks were added in Gold River, but soon stopped to meet demands from new house and apartment communities. As you know, our Town Centre is experiencing a lot of vacancy. Thank you to the hundreds of residents that attended the Town Hall in January to address the issue with First Washington. GRCA is in communication with the Town Centre’s owner and will provide you with updates or any future Town Hall meetings.
Miners’ Village is my home along with you. GP Landscape is, and has been, key to our green, lush looking neighborhood for many years. The landscaping is most likely a prime reason why you chose to live here! The Miners’ Board and Landscape Committee work hard to maintain and refresh what keeps our property values up. In May, the Board will hold a roundtable discussion focusing on landscape needs and desires for the future- with your valuable input. Stay tuned!
Best Wishes,
Jan Chadwick

This could be you!
Or your neighbors, if you would like to submit a brief biography or story for us to share.
The town hall meeting on Jan 7th was a good start and we hope to build on that momentum. Stay tuned for the next meeting but in the meantime please access the survey and keep writing emails.
We can feature a MVP (Miners' Village pet) with a photo and brief bio, so you'll know who to say hi to on your walk in the neighborhood.
